The Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) is a vibrant celebration of Jamaica’s culinary excellence, showcasing the island’s best chefs, mixologists, and food innovators. This year’s festival, held from November 7-10, 2024, marks its’ 10th Anniversary! Ten years in the making, this has become one of the leading food festivals in the Caribbean. Each event within the festival highlights Jamaica's rich gastronomic culture, blending traditional flavors with modern culinary techniques.
Classic Jamaican flavors will be highlighted at a brand new event, Kuyah where island classics get a twist. Signature events like Pork Palooza, Crisp, Picante, and Chopstix will return in one massive event called Decade, offering a variety of unique dining experiences. For the adventurous food lover, Meet Street and Market will be a hub of street food vendors and culinary demonstrations, while the Premium Brunch on November 10th is a must for anyone seeking a luxurious, gourmet breakfast experience.
The festival’s Chef’s Table event stands out this year, featuring Chef José Mendin of Pubbelly Sushi and Chef Mathieu Masson-Duceppe of Chopped, offering food enthusiasts a chance to enjoy high-level dining. The festival’s diverse offerings also cater to families, foodies, and those just looking for a good time, with entertainment and great company throughout the weekend.
