This role is responsible for the sourcing and procuring goods and services, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing inventory levels (alongside inventory clerk), ensuring timely delivery of materials and solutions for all non-delivered goods.
General Responsibilities
Liaise with Kitchen & Bar Managers regularly
Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders
Tracking, and ensuring PO's are fulfilled accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards for storage
Research potential vendors and suppliers, request quotes, and compare prices
Maintaining records of orders, payments, and received stock
Standard
Over 18 years old
Able to write, converse and understand the English language
Good numeracy skills and computer literacy
Able to complete training and duties associated with the role
Able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
Education
Bachelor or Associate Degree in Related Field
High School Diploma/ School Leaving Certificate
Health & Safety Certification
Experience
Experience as an Inventory Clerk/ Purchasing Officer/ Accounting Role
Experience keeping storage areas organized and clean
Exposure to fast paced environment
Experience in high-volume or fine-dining kitchens (preferred)
